Hello, my name is John Richter. I work for Black & Veatch, which is an engineering firm headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. One of the disciplines Black & Veatch excels in is electrical engineering, and lately we have been consulting with a variety of clients/stakeholders about utility scale solar developments in the Midwest, with sites ranging from 50 to 500+ acres. Anticipating solar grazing as a viable vegetation management service, I am very interested in making a relationship with a solar grazier in the Midwest so I can better learn the benefits of solar grazing, as well as learning important considerations that can be implemented during project design to facilitate solar grazing.
If you are willing to offer your insight into practical design considerations (fencing, forage, electrical outlet availability, water sources, turnout lots, etc.) that would support solar grazing (think of it as a wish list) I would be very interested in meeting with you. I’m basically thinking this can be co-beneficial itself, in that I can learn design considerations, and you can get exposure in the development industry. I’m willing to travel to you to learn about this subject. I’m best contacted by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or my cell phone 816-519-8201. Thanks!
