With a vision of connecting artisans with the community\, they decided to host an intimate festival at the shoppe to lay the groundwork for a larger gathering at the local fairgrounds in the following year. \n\n\n\nAs planning began\, they were determined to showcase every facet of the wool and fiber industry\, from sheep herding to fiber artistry. Conversations turned to collaboration when they contacted Dan Turner\, President of the Pennsylvania Sheep and Wool Growers Association. Their collective enthusiasm sparked a new direction\, leading to a united effort between local creators and established organizations. \n\n\n\nThus\, the Pennsylvania Sheep and Wool Festival was born—a celebration of creativity\, community\, and the rich heritage of sheep farming in Pennsylvania.
