Introducing ASGA Certification™ for Solar Grazing Training! (ASGA Call #70) Replay
At our 70th ASGA Call, we launched the brand new ASGA Certification™ for Solar Grazing Training program. This innovative program lends ASGA’s seal of approval to qualified training courses and their graduates.
In the recording, ASGA Board Member Caroline Owens explains how the program works, outline the application process, and discuss the benefits to various stakeholders.
The overall objective of our Certification program is to support the development of skilled solar graziers to meet the demands of rapid solar expansion, help new graziers succeed, and ensure the livestock is well taken care of.
In addition to the Certification announcement, Kevin Richardson, Lexie Hain, American Lamb Board’s Camren Maierle, and Solar Farm Summit’s Dan French broadcasted live from RE+, one of the biggest solar industry conferences in the country. They updated us on ASGA’s presence at the conference, the growing importance of solar grazing and agrivoltaics to the solar industry, and answered questions from the audience.
