New and Returning Members to the 2026 ASGA Board of Directors!

At the 6th Annual Meeting of the American Solar Grazing Association, our members voted overwhelmingly to expand our Board of Directors and update our Bylaws to reflect the growing needs of our rapidly expanding organization. This year, ASGA saw an impressive 25% growth in membership, welcoming 350 new members since March 2025!

To meet the increasing demands of our community, members voted to expand the Board from 9 to 13 members. Along with this expansion, we are proud to announce the election of three new Board members, Tiffany Buck (Arevon), Greg Gunthorp (Gunthorp Farms), and Arlo Hark (Cannon Valley Graziers). These new directors bring diverse expertise in solar grazing, sustainable farming, and renewable energy.

In addition, three current Board members were re-elected for another term, Lexie Hain (Lightsource bp), Daniel Dotterer (Dotterer Farms), and Ely Valdez (EVA Ranch and Solar Farm Services). Their continued leadership ensures a steady course as ASGA works to support solar graziers and agrivoltaics across the country.

In addition to the Board elections, the membership meeting covered exciting updates from 2025, including outreach initiatives, new resources, and our certification training program. These efforts are designed to help our members achieve best practices, enhance their knowledge, and connect with other leaders in the industry.

We’re excited to continue building on the success of the ASGA community, and we thank all our members for their ongoing support. Please join us in welcoming our new Board members and congratulating our returning directors as we continue advancing solar grazing and agrivoltaics together!

As Director of Sustainability at Arevon, Tiffany is helping define how solar and agriculture work together at scale. She leads land stewardship and corporate sustainability strategy across a national portfolio of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, advancing practical models for solar grazing and agrivoltaics that keep land productive while generating reliable energy.

From early-stage development through operations, Tiffany has worked with developers and asset managers to design sites for grazing success, structure workable agreements, and implement vegetation management practices that support long-term viability. In partnership with the American Solar Grazing Association, Tiffany helped shape the first Solar Grazing Certification Training Program for Solar Professionals, equipping the industry with practical tools to better collaborate with grazers nationwide.

Her focus is ensuring agriculture has a strong voice in how the solar industry grows and building partnerships that benefit both energy production and the agricultural community for generations to come.

Arlo Hark is President and Co-Founder of Cannon Valley Graziers (CVG), a southern Minnesota–based land management company specializing in solar grazing. With a background in natural lands management, he co-founded CVG with his wife, Josephine Trople in 2018. Together, they shared a vision of improving biodiversity, soil health, and ecological function by re-integrating ruminants into grassland systems across the Upper Midwest and beyond.

Today, Arlo applies adaptive grazing principles across both distributed generation and utility-scale solar projects, supporting healthy plant communities and soil systems through managed sheep grazing. Positioned at the intersection of livestock production, land stewardship, and renewable energy, his work highlights the important role sheep producers can play in shaping the future of working landscapes.
