A Note on Data Privacy and Usage

We’ve heard feedback from some solar graziers that they’d like more information about why ASGA is collecting these responses and what we plan to do with them.

All data collected through the Solar Grazing Census is intended for research and educational purposes only and will not be shared with any third-parties. Data provided by solar graziers will be used exclusively to promote the industry, educate farmers, ranchers, and solar developers about best practices, and make the case for the potential of solar grazing. All results shared will be anonymous.

Many of the questions asked in the Census are optional and respondents are encouraged to only submit the information they are comfortable sharing. Even if you only share basic details about your operation, that is still very valuable in capturing the current scale of solar grazing in the U.S.
