ASGA Call 72: European Solar Grazing and Agrivoltaics with BayWa r.e.

Stephan Schindele and Brandon Reinhardt from BayWa r.e. led an informative discussion on solar grazing and agrivoltaics in Europe. BayWa operates over 40 grazing sites and has a number of exciting agrivoltaics projects, including cow & chicken grazing, hay, and other crops.

Stephan oversees the agrivoltaics projects they’re running in Europe. He gave us an overview of their solar grazing programs in Europe, including the regional challenges, and touched on their agrivoltaics projects.

Stephan Schindele is the Head of Product Management Agri-PV at BayWa r.e

Brandon Reinhardt is the Senior Director of Land Entitlement at BayWa’s in the U.S.
