Join for our October Agrivoltaics Canada Community Exchange with Josh Bennett, Client Executive at Huwa Enterprises, for a discussion on Expanding Agrivoltaics: The Case for Cattle Grazing on Utility-Scale Solar.
While much of the solar grazing conversation has centred on sheep, this session will look at the potential to expand agrivoltaics through cattle integration, drawing on experience operating cattle grazing programs across 100+ MW of utility-scale solar sites.
Josh will explore how agricultural intentionality can be built into solar development, construction and site design, alongside the economic trade-offs for landowners and developers. He’ll also look at the impacts of heat stress on the beef and dairy industries and the potential for solar co-location to support herd health and productivity.
