ASGA-ALB Certified Solar Grazing Workshop – Gainesville, Florida

The American Solar Grazing Association is excited to announce that the American Lamb Board will be hosting an ASGA Certified Solar Grazing Training for farmers and ranchers from June 17th to 19th in Gainesville, FL!

Over the 3-day training, participants will learn the solar grazing training standards set by ASGA, which covers the basic subjects a sheep rancher should be versed in to manage vegetation on a solar site. The workshop includes a live demonstration on a site grazed by solar sheep. 

New solar projects are creating opportunities for sheep producers to graze their flocks on solar sites and start solar grazing enterprises. We look forward to hosting sheep producers from the state and nearby areas to learn about running a solar grazing operation.
