Lyndsey Smith is an agriculture communicator, broadcaster, and sheep farmer, based at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Lyndsey and her partner Chris Moore are the founders of Shady Creek Lamb Co., a vegetation abatement company entering its eighth season of grazing utility-scale solar sites in Ontario. From a single, 200-acre site in 2018, Smith and Moore have grown their solar grazing business to cover 700 acres, using five flocks of sheep, and including three other farmers for the 2025 season. Lyndsey also serves on the ASGA Board of Directors.
Lyndsey is also the mother to three kids, works in agriculture media, and drinks far too much coffee. All these things are related. Find her across social media as @RealLoudLyndsey.
