Abstract/Summary:
These considerations support integration of design and construction elements at the facility planning
and design stage to help promote “grazing-ready” site conditions that enable integration of grazing at
any point in the lifespan of a solar facility. The guide is intended to help to educate the solar
development community, substantiate co-location of sheep grazing with solar, and encourage
discussions among the farming and solar development communities to expand farmer involvement in
agrivoltaics.
