ALB-ASGA Certified Solar Grazing Training Workshop in Illinois

The American Solar Grazing Association is excited to announce that the American Lamb Board will be hosting an ASGA Certified Solar Grazing Training for farmers this June in Kankakee, IL.

The workshop is sponsored by Pivot Energy and the onsite portion of the training will be hosted on their solar site in Kankakee, IL from June 11th to 13th.

Over the 3-day training, participants will learn the solar grazing training standards set by ASGA, which covers the basic subjects a sheep rancher should be versed in to manage vegetation on a solar site. The workshop includes a live demonstration on a site grazed by solar sheep.

The ASGA Certification Program is part of our ongoing efforts to develop a workforce of qualified solar graziers and help sheep farmers realize the incredible opportunity solar grazing presents.
