ASGA Solar Grazing Certification Training – Plattsburgh, NY
ASGA’s Solar Grazing Certification Training in Plattsburgh, New York, marked an exciting milestone as our first ASGA-led certification training, made possible through the support of our sponsors, who also helped launch our new online prerequisite courses. Participants completed the online coursework before two days of in-person instruction covering ASGA’s Solar Grazing Standards, followed by a tour of Nexamp’s Northway Solar site. This year, ASGA has successfully hosted four farmer certification trainings with our partners CFAR and ALB, along with one solar professional training. Looking ahead, two additional trainings for solar professionals and three more farmer certification trainings are still scheduled for 2026 as we continue building a skilled workforce to support the growth of solar grazing.
